This school year, I will work collaboratively with the 2nd grade and 4th grade teams as their EL teacher.  I believe that all children benefit from a nurturing environment. A healthy balance of  academics and character development is important in developing respectful and productive citizens of the world. Students deserve high quality responsive instruction that is authentic, relevant and child centered.  Parent and teacher communication is also important.

I graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, English Language Learner (ELL) K-12. 

When I am not in school, I love to read and work in my garden.
