Ms. Barthelemy

    Ms. Barthelemy has been a Physical Education teacher for the past eight years.  Ms. Barthelemy started her teaching career at Simpson Middle School in Leesburg, VA.  Ms. Barthelemy has been teaching at Hutchison Farm for three years and is very excited to be starting her third year as a Husky!  Ms. Barthelemy played soccer at Shepherd University where she earned her B.A in Secondary Education:  Health and Physical Education.  Ms. Barthelemy received her M.S. from GMU in Exercise Physiology.  When Ms. Barthelemy is not teaching, she enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her friends and cat named Emerald!  :-)  Physical activity has always been a regular part of Ms. Barthelemy's life and she hopes to instill this habit in her students so they can be active and healthy for a lifetime!

     Gettin My Grub On!

    The Health & Physical Education position has been a vision that has finally come true Michael Lansdowne.  Mr. Lansdowne began his journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Lynchburg College and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Lansdowne comes from Creighton's Corner Elementary where he was a Cross-Cat Special Education teacher for 4 years. He also is the owner of Driven Leadership Academy where he focuses on empowering individuals young and old to the best in all aspects of their lives.  Mr. Lansdowne is truly grateful for this opportunity and hopes with the help of the awesome staff here on the farm to make a positive difference in the lives of our students.
