I am very excited about teaching fifth grade at Hillside Elementary for the 10th year.  Prior to teaching 5th grade, I taught 4th grade at Hillside for 15 years. I grew up in Herndon, Virginia and then left home to attend Michigan State University. There, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I later received a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and relaxing at home. I look forward to a fantastic school year!
