Mrs. Sherry Beverly

I am excited to begin my seventh year at Legacy! This will be my 23rd year of teaching and my 17th year as a resource teacher with LCPS.

I grew up on a farm and went to college in Canada. After marrying my husband (34 years ago!), I moved to Norfolk, VA and began my teaching career at a small private school. While living in Norfolk, I earned a Master's degree in Special Education at Old Dominion University and taught for Norfolk Public Schools before leaving the classroom to raise children  and go wherever the Navy sent us.

I currently live in Ashburn with my husband and a very energetic Brittany named Emma. Our son (Daniel), a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marine Corps, is in flight school in Pensacola. Our daughter (Elizabeth) and her new husband (Ridge) recently moved to Cincinnatti where she is doing her Pediatric residency at Cincinnatti Children's Hospital. We are truly empty nesters now.
