    I have been teaching Family & Consumer Sciences in Loudoun County since 2003. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Liberty University and a Master's degree in Administration from Shenandoah University

    Today's F.A.C.S. program teaches practical life skills that are necessary for all students.  Skills that are taught include: cooking, budgeting, balancing a checkbook, running a professional meeting, how to build good credit, how to prepare for a job interview, how to work with children, how to become an active member of a community, and more. 

    These universal skills will aid a student throughout their life, regardless of their occupation and career choices.
