Karen Boyer, Instructional Facilitator of TechnologyKaren Boyer has been teaching in Virginia for 25 years. After graduating from Mary Washington College with degrees in English and Elementary Education, she taught first grade in Spotsylvania County. She came to Loudoun County to be part of the opening staff of Horizon Elementary School where she taught first and second grades. Mrs. Boyer received her Masters in Education in December 2004 with a degree in Instructional Technology from George Mason University. As an Instructional Facilitator of Technology, she helps teachers integrate technology into their curriculum. She has worked in several Loudoun County schools in this role, including Ashburn Elementary, Sycolin Creek Elementary and Hamilton Elementary. She loves being part of the staff at Lucketts and working with the wonderful students and staff.
