Mrs. Morgan

My name is Mara Tarantino-Morgan ( and I have been teaching for 28 years in Loudoun County! I started my career in LCPS by student teaching at Rolling Ridge, and then moving on to Sugarland, Horizon, Hillsboro, Waterford, Frederick Douglass & Emerick Elementary Schools. I am thrilled to be part of the Hamilton Panther Family!  

I earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree (BME) and a Master of Music Education degree (MME) from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. In 2005-2006 & 2006-2007, two former students were the national first place winners in the NSBA/MENC Electronic Composition Talent Search. During the 2005-2006 school year, I was selected as one of the four Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Finalists for all of Loudoun County. During the 2005-2006 school year, I was selected as the Shenandoah University Teacher of the Year!

I have earned every level of World Music Drumming Certification and completed level one of Orff-Schulwerk certification through Westminster Choir College of Rider University.
