Weaver, Darren (Social Studies)

Mr. Weaver was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and went to Bethel Park High School.  After high school he attended Roanoke College in southern Virginia, majoring in History, minoring in secondary education and running on the cross country and track teams graduating in 2005.  After graduation he moved to Loudoun County where he taught 10^th and 11^th grade history at Heritage High School and was the assistant cross-country coach at Heritage High School until 2010 when he was transferred to Briar Woods.   He received his master’s degree from George Mason University in Curriculum and Instruction in May of 2011.   He is also now the head cross country coach at Briar Woods High School.
