    Welcome to Fourth Grade

    Mrs. Craft Mrs. Erin Craft

I am very excited to start my fourth year at FHR and third year teaching 4th Grade! I was born and raised in Leesburg and taught first grade at Leesburg Elementary for 3 years, first grade at FHR for 1 year and started teaching fourth grade during the 2021 - 2022 school year. I attended all LCPS schools growing up and I am happy to work in the county that I grew up in. I attended Shenandoah University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I grew up playing sports and I am a big Capitals fan! Outside of school, I enjoy going to new places, working out and spending time with my husband, daughter and our family. I am so excited to meet your student and have a fun year in fourth grade!

I absolutely love teaching 4th grade -- it is my favorite age to teach! I have taught for many years in both Stafford and Loudoun counties working with 4th and 5th graders. I am a Bridgewater College graduate and live in Leesburg with my husband and 2 young daughters. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family to the mountains of WV, the FL beaches, or to my husband’s hometown of Pittsburgh. I enjoy being an FHR Raven!

I am thrilled to be returning to FHR for the 2023-2024 school year! I grew up in Loudoun County. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching (Elementary Education) from Liberty University, student taught with the AMAZING Mrs. McDonough here at FHR in 2020, and have spent the past three years teaching fourth grade within the county.

I live in Leesburg with my husband, Ben, and our two sweet cats, Appa and Pip. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy hiking, traveling (my favorite destinations so far have been Iceland, Ireland, and Zion National Park in Utah) and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to a wonderful year as a Raven!

I am looking forward to a wonderful year in 4th grade! I am a Loudoun County native and Broad Run High School graduate where I was a Teacher Cadet. I went on to become a pirate at East Carolina University in NC where I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I have also received my Master's in Mathematics Education from Western Governors University. When I’m not at school, I love going to the beach, hiking, kayaking, and playing pickleball with my husband, playing with my black lab Luna, and spending time with my family and friends. I’m very excited about getting to know my new fourth graders!
