    Welcome to Fourth Grade

    Mrs. Craft Mrs. Erin Craft

I am very excited to start my third year at FHR and second year teaching 4th Grade! I was born and raised in Leesburg and taught first grade at Leesburg Elementary for 3 years, first grade at FHR for 1 year and started teaching fourth grade during the 2021 - 2022 school year. I attended all LCPS schools growing up and I am happy to work in the county that I grew up in. I attended Shenandoah University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I grew up playing sports and I am a big Capitals fan! Outside of school, I enjoy going to new places, working out and spending time with my husband and our family. I am so excited to meet your student and have a fun year in fourth grade!

     Mr David Hoffman

I am very excited to continue my dream career and join the FHR family.   Prior to coming to Loudoun County and FHR, I was a special education teacher in Fairfax County where I was a co-teacher in 4th and 5th grade classrroms.  Before this I was an instructional assistant, focusing on reading intervention in a middle school in Maryland and an elementary school in Hawai'i.  I live in Adamstown Maryland with my beautiful wife and my youngest daughter who will be entering 10th grade this school year.  I have 4 other adult children who live in Maryland and Virginia.  When I am not following my passion of teaching children, I enjoy various outdoor activities with my family and friends to include hiking, camping and kayaking.  To me, there is nothing like spending a day outdoors in the fresh air.  I am looking forward to a great school year and helping my students reach their fullest potential during their 4th grade.  Welcome to all of my "Hoffman Heroes"!

I absolutely love teaching 4th grade -- it is my favorite age to teach! I have taught for many years in both Stafford and Loudoun counties working with 4th and 5th graders. I am a Bridgewater College graduate and live in Leesburg with my husband and 2 young daughters. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family to the mountains of WV, the FL beaches, or to my husband’s hometown of Pittsburgh. I enjoy being an FHR Raven!
