Meet the Teachers
Ms. Daisley has been teaching in Loudoun County for the past 14 years. She spent time as a first grade teacher, third grade teacher, and as a reading specialist. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with her degree in Elementary Education and later pursued her Master’s in Reading from Shenandoah University. When Ms. Daisley is not teaching, she enjoys traveling, hiking, rock climbing, and playing softball. She loves spending time outdoors with her husband, Sean, and daughter Sage, and their little Yorkie, Teddy. She is excited to be part of the Frances Hazel Reid family and is looking forward to a great school year!
Ms. Dorman has been teaching in Virginia for the past 25 years. She has taught kindergarten, third and fourth grade, and served as an instructional coach and reading specialist before coming to LCPS in 2020. Ms. Dorman graduated from JMU with a degree in Early Childhood Education and later obtained her Master's degree in Reading Education from the University of Virginia. She feels so lucky to spend each day sharing the excitement of reading with children. Ms. Dorman enjoys time outdoors with her family when she is not at school. Ms. Dorman is excited to see all the FHR Ravens in person this year!
