This year begins my 27th year of teaching elementary school!   I graduated from Longwood College with a B.S. in Education, and earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Shenandoah University. I began my career in Brunswick County, VA, teaching First Grade (My mom was the 2nd grade teacher!).  In 1996, I moved to Loudoun County and began teaching Kindergarten at Sanders Corner Elementary in Ashburn, and in 1998, I moved to Lowes Island Elementary where I taught 5 years of Kindergarten and 3 years of First Grade.  This is my 16th year at Evergreen Mill. I live in Purcellville with my husband Paul, daughter Libby, son Carter, dog Annie, and yes....4 cats!  I'm looking forward to an amazing year with my colleagues and students!
