• Mrs. Alyssa Eveland

My name is Alyssa Eveland and I have been teaching English Language (EL) at Evergreen Mill Elementary since 2008.  I graduated from the Schreyer's Honor College at Penn State University many years ago, but I truly love learning and have continued my own education with graduate classes in English language acquisition and special education.
I began my teaching career in 1996 teaching high school English for Fairfax County Public Schools, prior to moving to my home in Loudoun County.  Over the years, I have taught students in kindergarten through high school and valued my experiences at every grade level.
This year, I am very pleased to be working with Evergreen Mill students in both first and second grade with focused study on reading fluency and comprehension, word study, writing skills, and math.
Please feel free to contact me at school or by email with any questions or concerns.  I look forward to a wonderful school year!
