Hello Python Family! I am so excited to be serving another year as the Assistant Principal at Evergreen Mill Elementary School. It is a wonderful school community filled with fantastic students, staff and families. Before coming to Evergreen Mill, I had already been an educator for twenty years. I started my career in Fairfax County Public Schools teaching special education, as well as fourth and sixth grades. After staying home with my own three boys for five years, I joined Loudoun County Public Schools in 2006. During my time in LCPS, I have taught fourth grade, been a special education cross categorical teacher and a middle school dean before becoming Assistant Principal here at Evergreen Mill.
While I may have grown up overseas (graduating from high school in El Salvador), my own children are products of Loudoun County Public Schools. My oldest son now lives in Richmond, my middle son attends Virginia Tech and the youngest is a high school senior this year.
I am a graduate of the University of Virginia, with a Master of Teaching in Elementary and Special Education. I graduated from George Mason University with my certificate in Educational Leadership. I believe in working closely in partnership with Mr. Lani, the talented staff, and most importantly you, as we all make sure that your child's elementary experience is one of success.
