Hello! My name is Laura Dix and I’m looking forward to working with the 5th grade team at Dominion Trail Elementary School again. I have taught fifth and fourth grade here at DTES since 2001. I earned a BA in Journalism from the University of Georgia and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from George Mason University. I have worked with Continental Math, SCA, and PTA while at DTES. I love being involved in educating the leaders of our future. It is a great opportunity to see growth both short term and over the entire year. I appreciate the chance to be involved with the great students and families here at DTES!
