My name is Maggie Gearing and I am so excited to be teaching at Dominion Trail after being a Husky parent for so many years!  Prior to coming to DTES, I taught extended-day kindergarten in Ohio as well as kindergarten enrichment and full-day kindergarten at Golden Pond School in Ashburn.  Before moving to Virginia from Ohio, I graduated from the University of Findlay with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Masters of Arts in Education.

I enjoy reading, playing games, and spending time with my husband and two daughters.  We are HUGE Steelers and Penguins fans!

First grade is so much fun!  I look forward to an amazing school year and watching your child grow!
