Greetings From Room 18!After nine rewarding years working in the corporate financial sector, Mrs. Zeller joined Loudoun County Public Schools in 1995, beginning her teaching career at Ashburn Elementary School. After teaching second grade for three years there, she joined the Cedar Lane staff, opening the school in 1999, as a second grade teacher. Since then, she has taught second, third and fourth grades, "looping" three times with her students to the next grade. She is thrilled to meet her new group of third graders in August! This will be Mrs. Zeller's 28th year of teaching, all with Loudoun County Public Schools.
Mrs. Zeller holds a B.A. in Economics from Marietta College (in Ohio), and an M.Ed. from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She has also completed coursework in Reading and Word Study through the University of Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys calligraphy, power walking, ethnic cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her wonderful family: husband Jim (36 years this November!), two grown children, Richard and Margaret, and her rescued dog (or did she rescue us?), Luna.Mrs. Zeller always welcomes your questions, your comments and, of course, your positive feedback! You can contact her through the school's main number (703.252.2120) or at sharon.zeller@lcps.org
