Morning Drop-Off and Afternoon Pick –Up Procedures

In order for the Catoctin staff to ensure a safe environment for all children, the following drop-off and pick-up procedures be followed by all families. These procedures will be strictly adhered to each day.  We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our children safe!

Drivers are expected to stay within the cones in the pick-up areas and to remain in vehicles in the car-line during dismissal.

7:30 a.m. – 7:48 a.m.       Parents drop-off students at the designated Kiss-&-Ride area.

After 7:48 a.m.                Parents arriving after 7:48 a.m. must park and escort students to the main office.              After 7:50 a.m., students must be signed in by a parent.

Afternoon Pick-Up Procedures

2:35 p.m. – 2:50 p.m.     Car-riders are dismissed to Pod 3 (near the gym).

                                      There will be a double line that will feed into a single line.  Please stay within the               cones when you get to the front of the line.  The car-line will typically finish in                   15 minutes or less.
