Have a wonderful and safe summer rising fourth graders!
Here is a summer calendar with daily activities to do to help retain and enhance information
    learned over third grade.
Students should be reading 15-30 minutes daily. Attached is a recommended reading list, as well as a packet consisting of a review of concepts and skills. The following are great websites for students to practice reading:
    Tumble Books

It is strongly encouraged that all students entering fourth grade have their basic facts memorized (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Please have your child practice these facts over the summer so they will stay committed to their memory. Great websites to use for practice is www.multiplication.com, ALEKS, DREAMBOX, or REFLEX. Attached is a packet consisting of concepts and skills review.

We have prepared summer packets to ensure literary and mathematics skills remain strong over the summer so students will be better prepared for fourth grade. The summer packets will consist of reading and math practice.

    Have a wonderful summer!
