Second Grade is an exciting year of learning and exploration.  Throughout the year, students engage in hands on learning activities designed to foster independent thinkers.  The second grade classroom environment is one where they know their ideas and opinions will be valued and respected by their teachers and classmates. 

The academic goals and objectives are designed to meet each child at their independent level and develop their love of learning. They will be challenged to exceed teacher's high expectations in a supportive, caring, safe setting.

Family members will always be welcome in the classroom to be part of the learning community. They are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the school.
