Book Check Out Policy: Each library user is issued a library account at the beginning of the school year.  Students may check out print resources from our library, and borrow eBooks on MackenVia.  Parents may apply for school library accounts to check out resources from the library collection.

    Daily circulation limits are:

Kindergarten:  Students may check out 1 book at a time, with a maximum of up to 2 books checked out on their account.

Grades 1-5:  Students may check out up to 3 books at a time, with a maximum of 5 books checked out on their account.

Students and parents are expected to return materials in a timely fashion.  The checkout period is two weeks, but materials may be renewed.  Renewals may be limited if other students are waiting for an item.  Students who have overdue items will receive a notice from the library.

In the event that a library book is lost or damaged, the student will be expected to pay the cost of replacing the book.  If the book is found, the money may be refunded, if a replacement item has not already been purchased
