    Kevin Menard

    Mr. Menard has been teaching in the Loudoun County Schools system since 1999.  Originally from Harrisonburg, VA, he has a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech).  He also has a master’s degree in Education, Curriculum, and Development from Virginia Tech as well.  During his time as a teacher in Loudoun County he has taught Personal Finance, World History/Geography I & II (at all levels) and US/VA Government as well as being the Lead Mentor for teachers at Tuscarora High School.  He has been chosen as an "Educator of Distinction" for 2010 by the National Society of High School Scholars, selected twice for the Who's Who Among American Teachers, and has received the Patriot Achievement Towards Success award ("PATS" award) 9 times while on the faculty at Park View High School and Harmony Intermediate School.  Mr. Menard is looking forward to this year as Tuscarora only gets bigger and better!
