Mrs. Walter is a 1994 graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Education.  She has been an educator since 1995, starting her career in the beautiful  Shenandoah Valley as a classroom teacher for Shenandoah County Public Schools.  After receiving her Masters in Reading from the University of Virginia, she then became a Reading Specialist for Loudoun County Public Schools in 2002. She has also taught as an Adjunct Instructor for the University of Virginia, teaching Reading in the Content Areas as a graduate level course.  Mrs. Walter has also taught in Frederick County, Virginia and has been a Middle School and High School Reading Specialist.  In 2017, she completed her School Librarian endorsement through Longwood University. She is excited to be joining the Loudoun Valley High School family as a librarian.

When not in school, Mrs. Walter enjoys traveling (especially to the Caribbean) and SCUBA diving with her husband.
