     ******************Professional Biography:

     WHS Grove

My name is Shawn M. Grove, and I have been teaching art to elementary students in Loudoun County Public Schools since 1993. I have simultaneously worked as a professional potter since 2003 using a wood-fired kiln that I built at my home. Since 2007 I have been an adjunct professor in Ceramics at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. In 2010 I challenged myself professionaly by moving to Woodgrove High School to help build and develop the arts program. I am very excited to be a part of the Woodgrove team and to contribute to developing an interest and appreciation for the arts with your child. Please stop by to visit our beautiful learning space in the art room.
