Professional Biography Renee Zahora

The 2022-2023 school year is Mrs. Renee Zahora's 16th year in Loudoun County and fifth at Riverside HS. It is Mrs. Zahora's 30th year of teaching.
Mrs. Zahora has a B.A. in History and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University.
She came to Loudoun County having previously worked for the CIA’s Office of Training and Education
and Fairfax County Public Schools. During her 14 years at South Lakes High School in Reston; she taught International Baccalaureate as well as World History I, II and US Virginia History. Additionally, she served as department head for five years.
In 2007, Mrs. Zahora was hired by LCPS to open Stone Hill Middle in Brambleton, taught 7th grade US History for 11 years and served as head of the department for 9 years.
In 2018, she joined the RVHS staff.
