     William E. Wilkin
     Social Science Teacher 

    Mr. Wilkin is a graduate of Canisius College in Buffalo, New York (B.A. History) (M.S.Ed. Secondary Social Studies); University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana (M.A. European History); and The Catholic University of America in Washington DC (Juris Doctor).

    This is Mr. Wilkin's fifteenth year at Stone Bridge.  Mr. Wilkin taught previously at Aquinas High School in Augusta, Georgia for six years before attending law school.  Mr. Wilkin has lived in Ashburn Farm for twenty-three years.  He is a volunteer for the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority at Ball's Bluff Battlefield and is a past president of the Loudoun County Civil War Roundtable. Mr. Wilkin is the member of the Loudoun County Heritage Commission for the Ashburn District.
     Parents are always welcome to visit class.  Please conform to the safety requirements set for all school visitors by signing in at the Front Office and by wearing your security sticker. Assignments and classwork will be posted on GOOGLE Classroom. Students will receive their entry code for GOOGLE Classroom in class; parents may email Mr. Wilkin to be added to the group so they can monitor assignment and project due dates. Grades and upcoming tests will be posted in ParentVUE.
    Mr. Wilkin has met the requirements of Northern Virginia Community College to be an adjunct professor. His class, History of Latin America, is NVCC HIS 231-232 (six credit hours).
    Mr. Wilkin is faculty advisor for the Key Club and for the SBHS Young Republicans. Mr. Wilkin was nominated in 2015 for the Agnes Meyer Washington Post "Teacher of the Year" Award.
