I teach AP Chemistry {Dual-Enrolled with Northern Virginia Community College}, Research Chemistry and Independent Science Research {Dual-Enrolled with George Mason University}.   I am an alumnus of Bucknell University and the University of Delaware where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and my Doctorate in Chemistry and Biochemistry respectively.  I did my post-doctoral research at the University of Pittsburgh as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow.   I have since earned and renewed my National Board Certification in Science with a specialization in Chemistry.  At Stone Bridge I am the sponsor of the Ski Club.  Outside of school, I am an avid climber - bouldering, and volunteer locally as a youth coach for The Boulder Yard team.  I also judge local climbing competitions through USAclimbing.   Additionally, I teach classes at Northern Virginia Community College as an adjunct Associate Professor.
