The mission of the Stone Bridge High School Counseling Office is to provide an environment rich with the opportunities and the support that will enable all students to develop and acquire the skills, attitudes, and knowledge necessary for a productive life in an ever-changing society.

Each student is assigned a school counselor.  School counselors work with students to develop their four-year high school plans, to take appropriate and challenging courses, to counsel about career, academic, and life goals, and to provide information, support, and assistance for students with special needs and issues.  The Counseling Office works directly with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and other school and community members to foster, promote and improve student success and achievement in high school.  Counselors assist students in the development of an understanding of themselves, the rights and needs of others, how to resolve conflict, and to define individual goals, reflecting their interests, abilities, and aptitudes.
