    National Technical Honor Society Guidelines



    The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) was developed to recognize outstanding, active Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and who have excelled in their work and in their business and information technology classes. The honor is designed to acknowledge academic achievement and FBLA involvement. Only a select few will achieve this distinction.
    Upon acceptance a one time membership fee of will be $30 will be due. See the adviser if you would like to participate in a fundraiser to pay this fee.




    To become a National Technical Honor Society member, an FBLA member must meet the following requirements:

    1. The applicant must be a junior or senior who is enrolled in a Business and Information Technology course.
    2. Must have completed the equivalent of two year-long business class credits by the end of junior year.
    3. The applicant must have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0, as verified with an official transcript from the school’s guidance.
    4. The applicant must be active in FBLA activities.
    5. Completed applications and attachments must be received no later than the date specified.
    6. Hand-written applications will not be considered. The application must be word processed.
