We hope your enjoyed your summer!
Welcome back to a new school year!!

HI! Mr. Bowler has taught life science at Sterling Middle for 13 years, fourteen years in Loudoun County. His mission is to help prepare your child with the skills to allow them to choose their paths to success as adults, and realize their potential, a path paved by a love of lifelong learning.

Mr. Bowler loves to teach because he learns as much from the kids as he hopes to help them learn. He grew up outside of Baltimore in a steelworkers' neighborhood. (Go Ravens!!; Go O's) He was the first in his entire family (including cousins) to graduate from high school, or college. He found learning to be addictive and empowering. Watching his neighborhood being changed into trucking depots and an industrial dumping ground started his environmental ethic. He's been blessed with an education and feels that it's his responsibility to share it.
