       This is Mr. Barb started teaching in Loudoun County in 2003 and Mr. Barb comes with a great deal of experience as an educator. He holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in history and middle school education. Mr. Barb attended James Madison University for his Bachelors Degree and obtained his Masters Degree from George Mason. Before coming to Loudoun County, he taught in Martinsburg, West Virginia schools and worked with high school students on their GED. Then he worked at The Jefferson School, Maryland teaching all core academic subjects for grades sixth through twelth for three years. 


       The first year Mr. Barb was the Precision Teacher at Smarts Mill and Freedom High School. The Precision Program gives students an extra assistance in Math and Reading. His second year in 6th grade Mr. Barb taught Language Arts and History. His third year Mr. Barb taught 8th grade Science and Math. During his fourth year, he taught Math classes ranging from 7th grade Math to Algebra I. His fifth year Mr. Barb taught Math 6, 7, and 8. His sixth and seventh  year, he taught Math 8. During his eighth year, he taught Civics and Math 8. On his ninth year, Mr. Barb taught Civics and Algebra. On the tenth year, he taught Civics and Math 8.  During his last 4 years, Mr. Barb has been teaching Civics and Economics. This year, Mr, Barb is teaching Math 7 in team-taught and self-contained classes at Blue Ridge Middle school.
