The Cripps Family
I am looking forward to a wonderful 2019-2020 school year. Please keep up with all homework assignments. Students will be recording homework on a data sheet in their binders. Homework will also be posted in StudentVue/ParentVue. See ParentVue/StudentVue for updated information on assignments, quizzes, and tests. Homework assignments and printable copies of assignments will be posted on Google classroom. Please have students be responsible and come see me first with any questions about homework, quizzes, or tests. Please speak with your child and look at their tests before reaching out to me. Students can come in early 8 a.m. if they need extra help,or come to resource. Please have your students come see me if they need a pass. When a child is working on homework they should be using the notes and examples we did in class as a quide to help them. If students are absent for any reason please check google classroom for assigments they need to complete. Please check ParentVue/StudentVue for missing assignments. Contacting me through email is the easiest and fastest way to communicate. Let's have a great year!

Homework is always subject to change.  Please check MyHomework App for the latest homework information. Homework is also posted on Google Classroom and StudentVue with printable copies of the assignments.
A student’s grade is based on what has been learned or mastered during the marking period.  The grade will reflect a student’s performance.  These are assessments that demonstrate a student’s mastery of the class content.
Homework quizzes will be given throughout the quarter and be based on homework and classwork. Homework quizzes will be worth 5% of the total grade. Tests (summative assessments) will be given at the end of each unit and following a Study Guide. Tests are worth 95% of the total grade. The best way to do well on tests and quizzes is to pay attention in class, ask questions, and come to resource when you need extra help, and most importantly using class notes to do homework. If you keep up with your homework and use notes to practice correctly you will do well on tests.
    Class Expectations:
Be on time and prepared(Math binder, pencil, Chromebook, and homework)
Have homework completed and begin warm up at the start of class
ALWAYS show your work! I cannot read minds.
