    All about Ms.Collins:
    Teaching Experience: This is my 15th year teaching in Loudoun County.  Previously, I worked for Manassas City Public Schools for 4 1/2 years, where I taught PE at the elementary and high school level. 
     
    Coaching Experience: In the spring, I will be coaching the Girls' Varsity Soccer Team at Broad Run High School.  This will be my 15th year coaching at Broad Run.  While working for the City of Manassas, I was the Girls' Varsity Soccer Coach at Osbourn High School for 4 years.  
     
     
    Education:  GO HOKIES!!  I went to Virginia Tech and graduated in 1997 with a bachelors degree in Health and Physical Education K-12.  In 2001, I earned my masters degree, also from Virginia Tech, in Health and Physical Education, K-12.

    GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
    • Learn characteristics of a healthy lifestyle and ways to improve one's health through educational materials, physical activities, and technology resources
    • Increase fitness levels of cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility
    • Learn necessary rules and skills for physical activities and sports
    • Begin to apply rules and skills to game like activities and situations
    • Be introduced to various types of physical activities and sports
    • Learn physical activities that one can perform individually and participate in for a lifetime
    • Demonstrate a maximum level of participation and effort at all times
    • Demonstrate positive attitudes, encouragement, and sportsmanship towards others at all times
    • Increase social skills through group interaction, teamwork strategies, and cooperative activities
