    for Potomac Falls High School

     

     Important Information for Students and Parents of
    current Freshman, Sophomores and
     Juniors

     

    Scheduling for the 2018-2019 School Year will begin in late January with the Electives Fair held on January 18 followed by our Panther Prep Night in evening. Students will make their initial electives selections through StudentVUE from January 18 through February 2. Thereafter, Counselors will meet with all students individually and will work on student plans to ensure they are on track to meet graduation requirements and future goals.  Teachers make recommendations for all core subject courses (Math, English, Social Studies, Science and World Language, if applicable), and students will begin to review their elective choices by reviewing the 2018-2019 Loudoun County Public Schools Program of Studies as soon as it becomes available.  This publication is ONLY available online (with limited printed copies available in counseling) for all students and parents to review:

    PVUE/SVUE course request tab will open on January 18, 2018 for students to select electives only and close on February 2, 2018. Changes for academic core courses and any electives changes after this date may be requested in writing to your child's school counselor. Course selections will be available for viewing on StudentVUE and ParentVUE. The last date to request course changes is March 23, 2018.  Please review all course requests carefully with your student. To schedule through StudentVUE, follow these directions here.
     
    If you have any questions or concerns regarding your son or daughter's schedule for 2018-2019, please do not hesitate to contact your child's counselor.  The following links should also provide some helpful information for helping your student plan successfully for their future course selections:
     
    Monroe Advanced Technical Academy:  Rising Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors interested in applying to Monroe Technology Center programs should visit this website for more information, deadlines and an application. Please note the application process is completely online.  If students want more information about how to apply to a program at MATA, they should make an appointment with their school counselor:
