Important Information for Students and Parents of current Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors

Scheduling for the 2017-2018 School Year will begin in late January with the Electives Fair held during Priroarities on January 19 followed by our Panther Prep Night in evening. Beginning the first week in February, students' will make their initial electives selections.  Thereafter, Counselors will meet with all students individually and will work on student plans to ensure they are on track to meet graduation requirements and future goals.  Teachers make recommendations for all core subject courses (Math, English, Social Studies, Science and World Language, if applicable) and students will begin to review their elective choices by reviewing the 2017-2018 Loudoun County Public Schools Program of Studies as soon as it becomes available.  This publication is ONLY available online (with limited printed copies available in counseling) for all students and parents to review:

PVUE/SVUE course request tab will open on Feb 1, 2017 for students to select electives only and close on March 10, 2017. Changes for core courses and any electives changes after this date may be requested in writing to your child's school counselor. An initial course request letter will be sent home with 3rd quarter report cards.  Please ask your student to see their initial course selections.  The last date to request course changes is April 6, 2017.  The final report card mailed home in June will contain the final course request. Please review all course requests carefully with your student.
