Hello, my name is Andrea Kling and I will be your child's 6th grade Math teacher this year.  I grew up in Loudoun County and attended Blue Ridge Middle School and Loudoun Valley High School.  I obtained my undergraduate degree from Longwood University and I have a master's degree from Catholic University.  This is my 22nd year with Loudoun County Public Schools.  At the beginning of my career, I taught 6th, 7th & 8th grade Math and then I was a school librarian for 14 years.  Last year I decided to head back to the math classroom and this is my first year at Smart's Mill.  

I am married and have two daughters; my oldest is in 9th grade and my youngest is in 4th grade.  I have an Australian Shepherd named Bailey Blue.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, baking and reading!

I am excited about being a Smart's Mill Maverick this year!
