Ms. Jazmin Cardoso

My name is Jazmin Cardoso and I have been teaching for seven years now. In those years, I have taught Spanish 1-4 and also started the first ever Latin American course at Osbourn High School, Manassas City Public Schools. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Latin American Studies and my Master’s in Spanish/Bilingual Multicultural Education from George Mason University. I was also a student-athlete at GMU, where I served as the team captain for two years. Soccer and teaching are my passion. I’ve been coaching club soccer for 11 years and high School for eight. I am currently the John Champe Girls’ Varsity Head coach. Besides teaching and coaching, I tend to spend a lot of time with my family and dogs, Ollie and Piper, they are my world.

Every year, I look forward to meeting my students and learning from them. I believe all students should feel respected and cared for. This is why my goal is to provide and foster the best teaching environment for my students.
