Mrs. Kimberly da Silva

Mrs. Kimberly da Silva is an Exceptional Education Teacher at Lightridge High School.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College in Elementary and Special Education.  Afterwards, she received her Master of Science from Illinois State University in Special Education.

She has taught for over 20 years, and seven of those years were teaching in Brazil.  This is where she became fluent in Portuguese.  Mrs. da Silva has taught in Catholic Schools and worked for Lexia where she helped teachers register for “Science of Reading” professional development.

When not teaching students at Lightridge, she enjoys being with her family, gardening, walking, and going to the gym.
