Ms. Megan Watson

Ms. Watson is joining Lightridge for her 17th year of teaching. She graduated from James Madison University, where she earned her BA in English and her Master’s in Teaching. She has also earned her administration certification from Shenandoah University and an Ed.S in Curriculum & Instruction from Liberty University. Ms. Watson began her career in Orlando, Florida, where she served as a reading teacher and literacy coach. Since returning to Virginia, she has taught every grade from 8th-12th at all levels! This year, she will be teaching Honors and Academic English 9.  

She is an avid reader, so she spends most of her days outside reading or with her three dogs and husband! She can’t wait to begin at Lightridge!
