Mr. Weeren is starting his 30th year in public school education.  A graduate of Broad Run High School and George Mason University (BSed. in Health and PE Education, MEd. in School Counseling and an MEd. in Education Leadership), he worked for 13 years in Fairfax County as a teacher, school counselor, and coach.  He moved back to Loudoun in 2007 with his family and joined LCPS.  During his 17 years in Loudoun, he has worked as a school counselor (Mercer MS), coach and Assistant Athletic Director (Riverside HS).  He is proud to be the Athletic Director at Freedom and wants all student athletes to achieve both on and off the playing field.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching college basketball.
