    Biography

    Mrs. CaSandra Alexander is an assistant principal at Freedom High School with 15 years of experience working in public education.  In her new role as Assistant Principal, Mrs. Alexander is excited to work with students, parents, and teachers to ensure the continued success of all Freedom students.  She oversees the Math and Social Science departments, and is the administrator for all students with last names E-K.

    Mrs. Alexander is in her fifth year at Freedom High School, where she is proud to have played a role in establishing the Unified Sports and Credit Recovery programs. She began her career as a Health, Physical Education, and Driver Education teacher and a department chair in Loudoun and Fairfax County.  While teaching, she concurrently served as a cross country and track coach.  She has served as a program manager for SHAPE America, the national organization for health and education professionals.

    Mrs. Alexander is a graduate of Loudoun County Public Schools.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from West Virginia University and her Masters of Arts in Education and Human Development from the George Washington University.  She currently resides in Sterling with her husband and three children.  In her free time, she enjoys the company of family and friends, travel and the sport of soccer.
