Mrs. Coleman

I am so excited to be teaching 3^rd grade here at Cool Spring Elementary.  I can’t wait to get to know you and your children this year.  I graduated from Radford University with a degree in Business Administration.  After 15+ years working as the Director of Revenue Management in the hospitality business I decided to take time off to be with my children.  During that time, I became very involved in the Loudoun County school system and decided to go back to school to become a teacher.  I have worked with Loudoun County schools for the last few years. 

I live in Leesburg with my husband Craig and three children. I love reading and spending time outside doing almost anything. My daughter Sagan is 23 years old.  My son Sam is 19 and attends GMU and my youngest Tom is 18 and will be attending UMD.  Every one of my kids had their own unique learning styles.  We have a 2-year-old Boston Terrier named Rocky, who we all adore.  As a family we love board game nights and hiking and have enjoyed lots of time exploring National Parks across the country. 

My teaching philosophy is to create a safe environment where your children are excited to grow and explore and not afraid to make mistakes. Our room will be a family that supports each other in all that we do. It should be a fantastic year!
