Ms. Axum

Hello! My name is Heidi Axum. I am new to Seldens Landing as I recently moved from California to the beautiful state of Virginia. This will be my fifth year in Kindergarten because I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten. I earned a Masters in Teaching in 2016 and have enjoyed a diverse background as an educator, to include teaching ballet for 20 years, and also teaching in Italy and Japan.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our chocolate Labrador. We like to travel the world, go for hikes, and explore the local area for fun things to do and good places to eat.

I look forward to meeting all my new students and having a wonderful year full of learning, growth, and creating wonderful memories.
