Welcome back Mavericks!

After enjoying a year as a site-based substitute with you last year, I have returned to be a long-term substitute in Life Science.  I have been a LCPS parent for 20+ years and am making a career switch to become a full-time educator.  I seek to inspire our students and families to enjoy life-long learning and being good citizens.  I have had many other careers, but I have always enjoyed working with young people. I enjoy bringing shared applied learning experiences with our students to help them think about their long-term goals and become pursuers of knowledge and wisdom.  We may have the opportunity to invite specialists to share how they utilize the exact information we are learning in their careers.

A few reminders:  Students will not be permitted to bring backpacks into classrooms again this year.  Further, students will not be using personal devices in the classroom to maintain a high level of engagement and attention to instruction, lab exploration, and group collaboration, so if you have an emergency message or family emergency, please call the front office at 571-252-2030 and they will aid in communicating and contacting your student.
