Mrs. King

Mrs. King is beginning her 14th year in Loudoun County. She began her teaching career at Lowes Island Elementary School in 1998, where she taught fourth grade for 6 years. She then stayed home for ten years to raise her two children, Luke and Sarah. Luke is 15 and a sophomore at Independence High School. Sarah is 21 and a junior at Florida Gulf Coast University. She went back to teaching in 2016 at Steuart Weller Elementary and taught third grade for 6 years. She made a career change in the 2022/2023 school to become an EL teacher and co taught first grade at Forest Grove Elementary School. She is very excited to be at Belmont Station Elementary this school year and meet all of her students. She loves watching her students grow and learn academically, physically and socially. In her free time, she enjoys working out, walking her dog Jedi, watching her son play football and basketball and spending time with family and friends.
