Ms. Flanagan

Welcome to Room 19! My name is Ms. Flanagan and this will be my first year of teaching. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Christopher Newport University. I can't wait to continue my teaching career, starting in 3rd grade!

A little bit about myself... I grew up in Sterling, VA and attended Countryside Elementary School as a student (FUN FACT- Room 19 was my Third Grade Classrooom!). I also graduated from Potomac Falls High School in 2018. I grew up with a very supportive family, including my parents, twin brother, and two younger sisters. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends, exercising, cooking, watching movies and tv shows, and spending time outdoors! 

I will strive this year to make my classroom a positive, uplifiting, and fun environment and can't wait to get to know all my students and families! I look forward to an amazing 2023-2024 school year, and please feel free to reach out to me at kayla.flanagan@lcps.org if you have any questions:)
