Mr. Danna

Welcome back Timberwolves and families. I am excited to join the Timberwolf team as one of its newest pack members! Growing up in Virginia surrounded by the Battlefields of Yorktown, Virginia schools helped make me the man I am today. I graduated with my B.S in educational studies from Grand Canyon University and completed my master’s in education with an emphasis in Special Education from Regent University. As I start my first year at Trailside, I also begin my seventh year as an educator. I have taught in West Virginia, in Sterling at Countryside Elementary, and most recently in Ashburn at Moorefield Station for the last three years as a cross-categorical special education teacher.

I married the love of my life, Heather, who is also a teacher. We have two wonderful children, the first of which is in the fifth grade and the second is entering second grade this year. We love to read books and go on adventures together but are equally happy curling up to watch a movie or sitting outside by the fire.

I love to work closely with students and to support them where they are. With patience and support, all learners can achieve amazing things. I look forward to a wonderful year at Trailside. See you at the end of the summer!
