Mr. Jeff Ludtke

Welcome! I am excited about being a Pack Memeber at Trailside Middle School! This is my first year at TMS, but I have been teaching with LCPS for 10 years. I taught Middle School for three years and High School for six years. In addition to teaching, I coach and play Ultimate Frisbee, train for American Ninja Warrior, and Disc Golf.

Virginia has been home my whole life and I grew up in the LCPS system. I graduated from Shenadoah University with a Major in Mathematics and a Minor in Secondary Education.

I strive to help all my students learn and grow in all aspects of life, not just mathematics. As someone who struggled with Math in school, I understand how difficult it can be to grasp the subject. My goal is to help all my students become more confident in Math and in themselves.

My new home is in Winchester, VA with my wife and son. We love playing with our three dogs, hiking local trails, and playing board games. In my spare time, I play Ultimate Frisbee in the Loudoun and Fairfax Frisbee Leagues. My team has won 1st place several times in both leagues. My other hobbies are training for American Ninja Warrior and competing in Obstacle Course Races.
