Kristen Barker

Hello Legacy Labs! 

I am going into year 16 as an educator. I attended both Virginia Tech and George Mason University as a college student. I have a background in Elementary Education as well as Physical Education. I began my teaching career in the classroom and then made the transition to my dream job, teaching PE!

I was born and raised in Loudoun County. Some of my favorite sports to play are softball, tennis, and volleyball. I also love to watch football, baseball, and anything my kids play!  My favorite teams are the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Nationals! When I am not playing sports, coaching, or playing outside with my family-- I love to cook, read, and spend time with friends. I have a 14 year-old daughter, 10 year-old son, and a 6 year-old daughter. We love spending time together and enjoy going on adventures!
