Mrs. Sluss is excited to be a part of the FDES staff this year as a school counselor. She went to school at Eastern Nazarene College and got a B.A. in Child and Adolescent Psychology. She then attended Liberty University and recieved her M.Ed in School Counseling. For the past three years she has been a part of Warren County Public Schools as a middle school counselor. She is excited about the transition to elementary school.

When she is not at school she is hanging out at home with her husband and their two young children. Mrs. Sluss loves being an active member in the community, serving at Leesburg Church of the Nazarene. She loves reading, writing, and anything creative. She loves being outside and going for walks with her family. She grew up on the Jersey shore and loves being at the beach.
