Welcome to 4th grade, Stars!

I am so excited to be joining the Frederick Douglass family this year! After graduating from James Madison University with both a Bachelors and Masters degree, I began my teaching career in Fairfax County. I taught first, second and third grade in FCPS for thirteen years before making the switch to Loudoun where I am so excited to teach fourth grade.

I live in Leesburg with my husband and our two boys, Caiden and Rowan. Most of my free time is spent with my boys at playgrounds, parks and pools! I also absolutley love to read-historical fiction and mystery are my two favorite genres.

As a student, fourth grade was my very favorite, most memorable year! My hope is that our year together will be filled with memorable fun and learning for everyone!
