Ms. Jennifer Calderone

Ms. Calderone is starting her 16^th year in Education and is excited to start her 1^st year at Light Ridge HS- Go Bolts!!

Ms. Calderone graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Masters of Education in School Counseling.

Prior to her career as a School Counselor, Ms. Calderone worked as an Academic Advisor and Graduation Coordinator for the College of Education and Human Development, at George Mason University. At Mason, she helped advise students on how to be successful in college and meet graduation requirements.

Ms. Calderone has spent the past 10 years working as a School Counselor at J. Michael Lunsford MS. There she worked with students on social and emotional learning, and preparing students for HS and post HS pathways.

The past 2 summers Ms. Calderone worked with students as a UMHT mental health counselor, providing counseling services to students through telehealth services.

She has 2 kids, Leo, 8 and Mila, 4. She loves to spend her free time going on runs, and spending time with her family and friends 😊

For future goals, she plans to return to Education to secure a post Masters Graduate certificate and license.

She looks forward to working with students and families in the Light Ridge community!
